Aug 17, 2023 - 11:30 AM (PT) - Doubletree Suites – 320 N. 44th St. Phoenix, AZ 85008
Hosted by Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, AZ

About this Event

Due to having to provide a count to the venue for attendance at noon on August 14, 2023 and no ability to increase the count once given, registration is now closed.

This course will address the basics of establishing your lien rights and how to effectively avoid common mistakes when preparing for a mechanics lien, bond claim, or worse, foreclosure and bankruptcy of the project or company.  It’s not a secret that mechanics liens and bond claims have been on the rise the last 18 months with many companies filing their first liens in their company’s history.  Positioning yourself to be in the best position for payment is key when discussing options on how to collect payment from a person or entity that is holding tight to their purse strings.  This course will not only provide a short refresher on establishing your right to lien, but it will deep dive in to managing those rights.

Learning objectives:

o    Confidently approach lien right management

o    Effectively prepare your team for mechanics liens or bond claims

o    Understanding of what happens AFTER a lien is recorded and served
